Great Lakes Watercross Championship Weekend
Rounds 5 & 6 – The Final 2 Rounds of the 2013 Tour
Racers,
This weekend August 31st and September 1st, the Great Lakes Watercross Tour will be hosting Rounds 5&6 of the Great Lakes Watercross Tour on Lake Petenwell at the Lure Bar & Grille. This is the Series Championship. Overall series champions will be crowned during the tour’s end of the year celebration which will follow racing on Sunday and will include FREE FOOD and BEER. So pack your gear and plan to stay because the Lure has plenty of food and drink for us all to safely celebrate the end of another great year. Some riders are planning to freeride Monday as well and take in some of the lakes scenery. Camping is welcome and the restaurant has facilities open for the racers use.
The Great Lakes Watercross Tour will also be naming a sportsman of the year in honor of Ed Bohat on Sunday evening.
With 4 rounds already in the books, many of the classes have some intense points races happening! The 2013 tour points have been updated and can be found here along with each events finishes as well.
Online registration is NOW open for Round 5&6 here, or you can register on site beginning around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. Note that there is a late registration fee for on site registrations. Online registration is highly recommended!
For those of you that have not renewed your IJSBA memberships you will be able to do so on site. Remember that this is a 12-month membership, meaning if you buy it this weekend it will be good for most of 2014 events (or at least up to this point next year).
