The 2008 Chicago Air and Water show is promising to be bigger and better than ever. Though the Friday prior to the weekend events has always traditionally been used as a dress rehearsal of types, it has been added as an official show day for 2008. That's right, starting at 1pm Friday, August 15th, the Liquid X Freestyle tour will be on the water kicking off their 2008 Big Air Championships. Immediately following the big-air jet ski act will be none other than Bill Murray and the Golden Knights dropping in at North Avenue Beach at 3 pm to kick off the Friday afternoon air show. We are unclear as to Bill Murray's experience in sky diving, or Murray's ability to fly; but we will definitely be on hand to cheer his landing. Official sources claim that this will in fact be Bill Murray; not one of his many Hollywood stunt doubles. Stay tuned for more information about the show.
The 2008 Chicago Air and Water Show will take place on North Ave. Beach, August 15-17th.

I just got a look at the latest release from the IJSBA. For PWC racing fans this DVD has some great footage. Nothing like jetski World Finals video to get you in the mood to get out and start preping for the season. This video gives jetskiers the feeling that they are whatching an ESPN special. Though there is some Freestyle in this vid it will most likely leave freestyle and freeriders wanting more. It is wild to see how the sport has changed over the years. Not use to seeing Honda, and Sea-doo next ot Yamaha and Kawasaki not to mention all the new sounds of the four-strokes.

I just Checked my e-mail and found that the 2007 Quakysense World Finals of Jetskiing DVD has just be released. I was happy to see my Team Twangled teammate Gary Burtka on this years cover aboard his red, white and blue Freestyle Factory built XFT hull.
